That is a tough one! There used to be a cafe in Yorkville called the Coffee Mill that was a scene well until the late 80s. It was also one of the first places in Toronto to serve food on a patio. There is shockingly little online about restaurants that have closed. Most of the places that have been opened more than 20 years in this city are steakhouses or diners.
